New Jersey now has nine counties that rank in the top 150 hottest real estate markets in the U.S., according to the latest data from Realtor.com for December.
That’s up from seven counties that made Realtor’s home sales hotness rankings in November. Realtor.com calculates its hotness rank based supply and demand data on its site, Sara Wiskerchen, director of corporate communications at Realtor.com told NJ Advance Media in an email.
Gloucester County, where the median listing price was $349,000, topped the New Jersey list at 14. Five New Jersey counties ranked in the top 100.
Monroe County in New York and Madison County in Ohio had the hottest markets in the U.S.
