Mumbai: Charkop Police registered an FIR against a woman and her male accomplice for assaulting a real estate agent following a dispute on the street in Kandivli (W) recently.The complainant was heading home with his friend on a motorcycle on May 16. At Ekta Nagar, they noticed a woman and a few of her male friends creating a ruckus on the road around 9.30 pm, blocking the path. When the complainant asked the group to move, one of the men hurled expletives at him. An altercation broke out during which he yanked the complainant off the motorcycle and beat him up. The woman allegedly slashed the complainant with a chopper on his head until he started to bleed. She and her male associate then stole his gold chain and fled. The complainant was taken to a hospital where he received five stitches on his head.Subsequently, Charkop police registered an FIR against the duo.
