GPGPT: AI Platform Launches For Venture Capital And Private Equity Investors

GPGPT announced the general availability of its AI platform purpose-built for venture capital and private equity professionals. Designed specifically for private-market investing workflows, the platform helps investors analyze deals, prepare investment memos, monitor portfolio companies, and leverage firm-specific knowledge and documents to support investment decisions.

The platform combines secure document workspaces, AI-powered diligence and portfolio management capabilities, and investor-focused domain expertise into a single interface that serves users across the private capital ecosystem, from analysts to managing partners.

At the core of the platform is GPPortfolio, a private workspace that enables firms to upload and analyze investment materials such as pitch decks, board presentations, portfolio updates, investment committee memos, and data room documents. Users can query these materials using AI grounded in their firm’s proprietary information. GPGPT also offers GPInsights, an investor-focused AI copilot designed to assist with market analysis, fund construction, fundraising, firm operations, portfolio strategy, and liquidity-related questions.

Founded by Jacob Mullins, GPGPT is built around the idea that private-market investors require more than a general-purpose chatbot. The platform is designed to help firms leverage their own investment history, institutional knowledge, and proprietary materials while supporting the judgment-driven processes that define venture capital and private equity investing.

GPGPT is available through a free Starter tier, with Pro and Max subscription plans offered for users with greater usage requirements.

KEY QUOTES:

“I’ve spent two decades in Silicon Valley — ten years as a founder and operator, and the last ten as a venture capitalist. That experience gave me a front-row seat to how companies are built, how investment decisions are made, and how firms develop judgment over time. The most valuable knowledge in private-market investing often lives in partner meetings, IC debates, diligence sessions, portfolio reviews, and the hard-earned memory of a firm. GPGPT is designed to help that judgment finally compound.”
