On Wednesday, Bitcoin saw its short-term bearish-pennant support level deteriorate, with Ethereum mirroring that same strongly bearish pattern. Although bullish divergence signals on shorter timeframes introduce the possibility of a bounce, the broader outlook stays negative as TBO and OBV metrics continue to indicate seller dominance.

Bitcoin support weakens while the macro trend stays bearish

BTC broke through its near-term support, thereby undermining the bearish-pennant support line. The hourly chart did show three recent TBT Bullish Divergences, but these are early reversal indications within a macro trend that remains bearish.

Ethereum mirrors Bitcoin’s risk-off structure

Ethereum continues to exhibit a strong bearish posture and seems to be awaiting Bitcoin’s lead for the next significant directional shift. The weekly chart remains bearish across TBO, OBV, and RSI, with RSI positioned in oversold territory.

Dominance flows continue to pressure altcoins

Combined stablecoin dominance stays strongly bullish and advanced further on Wednesday, though it has not yet hit the 13% accumulation trigger threshold. Bitcoin dominance rose by approximately 0.49%, while OTHERS.D fell by about 1.49%, a pairing that typically narrows altcoin breadth.

Altcoin market-cap charts are still on breakdown watch

TOTALES remains strongly bearish on the daily chart. TOTALE50 declined to TBO Support but did not close beneath it, while TOTALE100 dipped into support. A definitive loss of these levels would likely generate new TBO Breakdown signals across the altcoin market.

TradFi risk signals add pressure

The DXY stays strongly bullish and is moving toward TBO Resistance. The VIX closed above the 22 rejection zone, major U.S. indices issued TBO Close Long warnings, and gold fell 4.41% while recording a TBO Breakdown.

Altcoin standouts are mostly caution signals

HYPE produced a TBO Close Long, which serves as both a take-profit reminder and a bearish reversal alert. XMR has rebounded to the daily TBO Fast line after touching support, MORPHO is nearing a potential resistance retest, and DEXE is the clearer Springboard Bounce candidate after pulling back to the Fast line.
