Bruce Springsteen’s Equestrian Daughter Jessica Springsteen Gallops to Silver Medal Glory in the Recent FEI Event

She has said early on that she didn’t want to be known as Bruce Springsteen’s daughter alone…She wanted to forge her own path. She’s really doing that. She is very much at the elite level of the sport because of her performance,” Olympic champion equestrian Melanie Smith Taylor had told about Jessica Springsteen. And Springsteen has shown it time and again. Recently she walked on that path once again in an FEI event.

Jessica Springsteen etched her name in the recently held $62,500 FEI 5* Bainbridge 1.50m horse race. A win next to the title bearers of the Bainbridge race, Jessica Springsteen & Naomi Van Het Keizershof’s team stood second and won the silver medal for their mesmerizing gallop. As mentioned by the official page of Wellington International on Instagram, the post celebrated their wins, along with the other contenders who struck their names as equestrians.

A victorious team of Harry Charles and Aralyn Blue raced to grab the first position with a 66.84 seconds record. On the other hand, a pair of Michael Duffy and RMF Cinnamo stood third and grabbed the bronze medal in the FEI 5 1.50m Bainbridge horse race. While the silver medalist conqueror missed the paramount place in the race, Jessica Springsteen now aims at her ultimate goal, the 2024 Paris Olympics.

With that, she moved forward and finally landed in the 2020 Olympic team that would change the course of her career. It was a decent run for her with four faults after her horse, Don Juan van de Donkhoeve, knocked down a rail. With that, she managed to secure the silver on that occasion. “Throughout my career, representing my country has been my goal, and so to be doing so at the Olympics, it’s a huge honor,” Jessica had told ahead of the Tokyo Olympics. As she gets one more chance to adorn that honor, she will surely look to convert her silver to gold.
