Prestatyn High Street property on the market after florists vacated it

The property, 98 High Street, is available on a six-year lease via agents St Davids Commercial, to let at £12,500 per annum.

It was formerly the home of flower shop and tea room Blooming Gorgeous, which had been based at the site for just more than a year before confirming its closure on March 20.

Prestatyn florist closes immediately after ‘amazing six years’

St Davids Commercial describes the property as a “very prominent corner café location situated on the High Street,” and said it “could also be used for a shop or office”.

Before being taken on by Blooming Gorgeous, the property was home to Déjà Vu, a French café and crêperie, which left the site in October 2022.

A statement from Blooming Gorgeous last week read: “It is with an extremely heavy heart that we are announcing the closure of our florist at 98 High Street, Prestatyn with immediate effect.

“This is not a decision we have made lightly and is something that has affected us both mentally and emotionally.

“Blooming Gorgeous is almost six years old, and what a six years it has been.

“We’ve made some fabulous friends for life, met some amazing characters, we’ve won awards for business and our work, we’ve laughed and cried, but now is our time.

“Thank you for an amazing six years, from the bottom of our hearts.

“Now is our time to take a little break from all the hard work it takes to create and deliver all those blooming gorgeous flowers.”
