Linklaters bolsters private markets team with new hires


Linklaters has bolstered its private markets team with a series of new hires.

The law firm has announced the election of 27 new partners and 49 counsel across the business globally. These hires include senior additions to the firm’s investment funds business, as well as private equity and financial sponsors offerings.

Newly-promoted partners include Benjamin Jennings, who is now an investment funds partner in London; and Ben Suen, who is a partner in private equity and financial sponsors/corporate, also in London.

Both Olof Echt and Victor Louvet have been promoted to counsel in the investment funds division, in London and Luxembourg respectively.

Linklaters confirmed that it has once again met its annual 40 per cent target for female partners elections and its 15 per cent target for under-represented minority ethnic partners in partner elections annually in the UK and US.
