Model railway manufacturer Dapol, from Chirk in North Wales, is producing another series of ICA ‘silver bullet’ wagons used for the transport of china clay slurry.
The wagons will be both N Gauge and OO Gauge versions, in both pristine and weathered forms, and as usual with Dapol models, will feature a highly detailed body and chassis moulding, numerous separately fitted details, and an etched handrail.
N Gauge models will only be available with a NACCO livery and will be offered in weathered or pristine finishes. The pristine model will have the running number 3780 7898 072-9, and the weathered models will have running numbers 3387 7898 070-0, 3780 7898 118-0, 3780 7898 042-2.
Prices for these new N Gauge models are £37.95 for the pristine version and £39.95 for the weathered versions.
OO Gauge models will be offered with NACCO livery in pristine and weathered finishes, NACCO/ECC livery in a weathered finish, OVEA/ECC livery in a pristine finish, and ERMEWA livery in a weathered finish. These models will have the following running numbers:
- NACCO /ECC weathered finish – 3387 789 8 062-7 and 3387 789 8 048-6;
- NACCO weathered finish 3780 789 8 045-5;
- NACCO pristine finish 3780 789 8 059-6;
- OEVA/EEC pristine finish 33 87 789 8 095-7;
- ERMEWA weathered finish 33 87 789 8 037-9.
The new models are a re-run of previous models and are therefore expected to be on sale during the first quarter of 2027.
Prices for these new N Gauge models are £45 for the pristine versions and £49 for the weathered versions.
Earlier this week, Dapol also announced the release of more OO Gauge MGA twin wagons, with a new series of running numbers.
