Winston Taylor has added Christopher Pristouris as a partner in its Private Capital & Funds Practice in New York as the firm continues expanding its private investment funds and critical transactions capabilities.
Pristouris advises private fund sponsors across the full lifecycle of their investment management businesses, including adviser structuring, registration, governance, fund formation, and fundraising.
His practice also covers regulatory and compliance matters, SEC examinations and enforcement, and issues arising under the Investment Advisers Act, Securities Act, and other federal securities laws.
Pristouris works across private equity, private credit, venture capital, early- and growth-stage investments, real estate, funds of funds, secondary funds, and hedge funds.
The appointment comes as Winston Taylor continues building its transactions practices. Recent partner additions include Shan Haider in Finance and Zila Acosta-Grimes in Financial Innovation & Regulation and the Digital Assets Group in New York, as well as David Love and Lee Discher in Finance and Patrick Valenti in Private Capital & Funds in Chicago.
Winston Taylor said Pristouris’ regulatory experience will also strengthen its ability to advise sponsors on increasingly complex GP-led liquidity transactions.
