Samsung Securities said on Sept. 13 it signed a comprehensive memorandum of understanding with BNY on Sept. 10 (local time) at BNY headquarters in New York to cooperate on global asset management and financial solutions.

Under the agreement, the two companies plan to advance existing securities industry infrastructure including stock brokerage and clearing, securities collateral management and securities financing.

In new business areas, they will broaden cooperation to include AI and digital assets. They aim to develop new financial solutions and strengthen customer services by using their global networks and financial infrastructure.
