Brighton’s top end is back up and running, with a more than $10m sale for the owners of Bali Body notched as singer songwriter Ren Barlow lists her own $16m mansion.
The sale and new listing come in the aftermath of a $96m combination offering from businessman and World Series of Poker player Julius Colman just over a week ago along the beach front of Moule Ave.

3 Moule Ave, Brighton, comes with a towering outlook and scope to add a lot of value to the property that’s currently owned by singer Ren Barlow.
Earlier this week, Ms Barlow listed her own landmark residence at No. 3 on the same street with a $16m-$17.6m price guide — though it might well top $20m as buyers eye adding in the neighbouring residence at No. 1 Moule Ave.

Alongside corporate suite experience as a chief executive, chair person and non-executive director, as well as currently serving on the board of the World Literacy Foundation and the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, the singer has collaborated with Melbourne Opera and Melbourne City Opera.
She’s also released country songs and will be putting her fourth and fifth albums out next year.
Before that she’s looking to sell her 3 Moule Ave, Brighton, home as she prepares to follow her son to Los Angeles where he is pursuing his own music career.
The home’s billiards room comes with a bar, and will soon appear in a music video clip for one of Ms Barlow’s soon-to-be released songs.
The home’s Italianate facade opens out to a swimming pool and gardens — and could have a much larger outdoor zone added to it.
A bold colour pallet in some of the rooms creates an ambiance.
The listing comes as the neighbouring home at 1 Moule Ave is also on the market, and offers the chance for the 1889-built Italianate mansion named Narellan to be reunited with what used to be its front yard facing Bay St before a past subdivision.
The more than 20-room mansion’s floorplan includes six bedrooms, six bathrooms, multiple living zones, a home gym, billiards room with a bar and a spiral staircase in the main bedroom.
“The staircase goes up to the tower, and you can see everything up there: the city and the Brighton Yacht Club and out to Sandringham,” Ms Barlow said.
“It’s beautiful on a balmy summer night, when the sun is just about to go down it’s just magical.”
Follett and Co’s James Paynter and Justin Follett are handling the sale and Mr Paynter said the “quite amazing” home offered a rare chance for a buyer to get both this home and its neighbour at No. 1.
The bedroom comes complete with its own spiral staircase.
The home’s character features including fireplaces, ornate lighting and high ceilings are still on display more than a century after it was built.
Some spaces, like the bathrooms, are considerably more modern than they were.
“We might get someone trying to buy the two homes together,” Mr Paynter said.
No. 1 is currently for sale at $4.35m-$4.65m via RT Edgar’s Nick O’Neill and Will Maxted.
And while top end sales had mostly sat idle so far this year, a deal was finalised earlier this week for Bali Body founders Laura Foley and James Oosterloo’s Wolseley Grove home understood to have sold above $10m in the biggest deal for the suburb since May.
Sotheby’s International Realty Brighton’s Andrew Campbell would not confirm a price, but said it had sold to a local family who bested an expat for the home and had provided a positive note that could be a signal for more confidence in the market ahead.
