Driving the watch is the manually wound in house Calibre 822, entirely designed, produced and assembled by Jaeger LeCoultre. Measuring just 2.94 mm thick, it displays hours and minutes and offers a 42 hour power reserve.
Rolex GMT Master II
The Rolex GMT Master II is presented here in a 40 mm Oyster case crafted from 18 ct yellow gold, giving the watch a distinctly luxurious interpretation of Rolex’s celebrated professional travel watch. Its polished precious metal construction is balanced by the functional architecture of the Oyster case and the five piece link Jubilee bracelet, while the Oysterlock safety clasp incorporates an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension for additional adjustability. The black dial maintains the watch’s unmistakable visual clarity, with conventional hour, minute and seconds hands accompanied by the signature arrow tipped 24 hour hand. At 3 o’clock, the date display adds another layer of everyday practicality.
Surrounding the dial is a bidirectional rotatable 24 hour bezel fitted with a two colour grey and black Cerachrom insert in ceramic, complete with moulded numerals and graduations. At its heart is the Manufacture Rolex Calibre 3285, an automatic movement driven by a bidirectional Perpetual rotor and equipped with a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and high performance Paraflex shock absorbers. The movement provides approximately 70 hours of power reserve. Its independently adjustable local hour hand allows travellers to change time zones without disturbing the minute and seconds hands, making the GMT Master II as technically purposeful as it is unmistakably luxurious.
