Sheridan Smith seems to be in quite the mood for a hair makeover lately. She took us by surprise last month with a chic cherry-red pixie chop, which was so dramatic we initially suspected it was the work of an Instagram filter. (Spoiler: it wasn’t)
Now the actress has switched up her look for something that couldn’t be more different. In a total reverse of her short cut transformation, Sheridan, 45, has added 20-plus inches of hair extensions to her look.

Her hot-red colour has also been swapped out for a soft, rose-gold shade which perfectly complements the romantic feel of her ultra-long length.
The whole makeover was all done in a single afternoon, and Sheridan has shared it all on her Instagram. In a fun beauty video, Sheridan shares the stage-by-stage transformation created by her hairdresser and makeup artist. ‘Hair Fun on a Sun..(day) with my huns @edwardtaylorhair @miss_charleywebb,’ she writes.
The makeover gets underway
The video starts with Sheridan and her poppy pixie in a kitchen, with stylist Edward Taylor poised to work his magic. The clip then cuts to the actress with her bright colour stripped out, swapped to a soft rose-pink tone and blowdried.
That alone would be quite the transformation, but the video then cuts to Sheridan flinging off hair turban to reveal a sheet of shimmery extensions and a full-glam face makeover to match. It’s beautiful work by her MUA Charley Webb.
