Terri Hastings Real Estate Group Joins LPT Realty in Ontario

LPT Realty has added The Terri Hastings Real Estate Group, a seven-REALTOR team serving Grey and Bruce Counties in Ontario, as the brokerage continues expanding its Canadian presence.

Founded by Terri Hastings and now owned by her daughter, Jessica Hastings-Lesperance, and son-in-law, Adam Lesperance, the group specializes in residential, waterfront, rural, farm and recreational real estate. The team closed 145 transactions in 2025.

The move gives the Ontario group access to LPT Realty’s technology, marketing resources and brokerage infrastructure while allowing it to continue operating its established local business and specialized Worldclass Waterfront brand.

“The Terri Hastings Real Estate Group has built a business with deep roots in its market and a clear-eyed view of what comes next,” said Michael Valdes, CEO of LPT Realty Global & Internacional. “We’re honored to provide Jessica and Adam with the infrastructure, resources, and support to pursue that next stage on their terms, while continuing to carry forward what Terri started.”

Hastings began working in real estate in Grey and Bruce Counties after receiving her license in 2006. She subsequently developed a specialty in waterfront properties and created Worldclass Waterfront to serve buyers and sellers in that segment of the regional market.

Ownership transitioned to Hastings-Lesperance and Lesperance in 2023, although Hastings remains an active REALTOR with the organization and continues working with clients.

Before taking ownership of the real estate business, Hastings-Lesperance and Lesperance built and operated businesses across agriculture, fitness, organic food and tree removal. They also operated a 200-sheep farm.

Hastings-Lesperance has experience in business ownership, media, publishing and brand development and now focuses on the real estate group’s operations, marketing, technology and broader business strategy.

Lesperance leads sales and REALTOR performance while continuing to work directly with clients. He personally closed 70 transactions during 2025, accounting for nearly half of the team’s 145 transactions that year.

“Terri has always told us, ‘You want to be learning from people who have done it bigger and better than you,’” Hastings-Lesperance said. “That’s what we found at LPT: new rooms, new technology and people challenging what is possible in real estate.”

The addition extends LPT Realty’s footprint further into Ontario’s Grey-Bruce market. The brokerage has continued expanding across Canada during 2026, adding teams in multiple provinces.

Other Canadian groups joining LPT have included The Jennifer Jones Team in Ontario and Getty Group in Alberta.

LPT said its AI-enabled technology and proprietary systems will provide The Terri Hastings Real Estate Group with additional capabilities for property-specific marketing and agent workflows. The Ontario team plans to use the platform while maintaining its emphasis on personalized client service and its existing local market strategy.

“We want our REALTORS building businesses that are sustainable for the long term, not simply chasing the next transaction,” Lesperance said. “LPT gives us another opportunity to help our people think bigger about what their real estate careers can create for their families.”

The group also maintains a community-focused presence in Grey and Bruce Counties. Hastings-Lesperance founded the Community Needs Network, an initiative that coordinates businesses, organizations and residents to address local needs. According to the company, the initiative has generated in-kind contributions valued in the six figures during the past three years.

LPT Realty, founded in 2022, supports more than 20,000 agents across all 50 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., and multiple Canadian provinces. The brokerage focuses on agent choice, flexible economic models and proprietary real estate technology.

The addition of The Terri Hastings Real Estate Group gives LPT an established seven-agent operation in Grey-Bruce while providing the family-owned team with a larger brokerage platform to support its next stage of growth.
