The Sky-Dweller is one of Rolex’s more complicated watches, combining a dual-time display with an annual calendar that only needs adjusting once a year. The 42mm Ref. 326933 also pairs Oystersteel with yellow gold, giving it the unmistakable look of a full-fat Rolex without the price tag of the solid-gold versions.
Rolex currently lists it at £16,300. On the secondary market, however, its estimated market price is around £12,345.
That’s a saving of almost £4,000, or roughly 24 per cent below retail.
For a watch with an annual calendar, dual-time function and 42mm two-tone case, that’s a sizeable difference. It also makes the Sky-Dweller one of the more interesting examples of just how far the secondary market can move away from Rolex’s official prices.
