A 28-year-old man is set to appear at court on Monday following his arrest at a property in Stonehouse on Saturday. Police officers had been seeking Rhys Sturge, of King Street, Plymouth in connection with an incident on June 6 when he was spotted in the Stonehouse area.
He initially entered a property and a large number of police officers attended the location as efforts were made to remove him. He was later arrested and taken to Charles Cross police station custody suite for interview by detectives.
Sturge has now been charged with theft, three counts of criminal damage, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and assault by beating.

He was remanded into custody and will appear at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
