Permira, the private equity firm that owns Evelyn Partners, has announced a leadership change, with long-time CEO Kurt Björklund set to become executive chair.
Björklund became co-managing partner at Permira in 2008, alongside Tom Lister, who retired in 2022. Over that period, Björklund has helped the group expand its investment focus and raise eight private equity funds and more than 30 credit vehicles, representing about €60bn (£50.67bn) of capital.
He will step down from his current role and become executive chair from 1 September.
