In South Florida’s latest hiring news, JLL added three veteran office brokers to its South Florida team. Greg Martin and Justin Cope joined as senior managing directors, while Lisa Blumer joined as senior vice president. The trio from Avison Young will focus on JLL’s operations across Broward and Palm Beach counties, according to a news release. Their experience includes landlord representation, office leasing, tenant representation and building sales.

Martin brings 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, specializing in office leasing. Before joining JLL, he was a founding partner of Avison Young’s Florida operation, the release said. He’s also held roles as a senior director at Cushman & Wakefield and vice president at CBRE, according to LinkedIn. Martin has been named Florida NAIOP (now CREDA) Broker of the Year and was previously president of the association’s South Florida chapter.

Cope has worked in commercial real estate, with a focus in landlord representation and office leasing, for the past 20 years. He was a principal at Avison Young before joining JLL. Cope also spent time at Duke Realty Corporation, Cushman & Wakefield and Marcus & Millichap, according to LinkedIn.

Blumer brings experience in office leasing and strategic landlord advisory services, the release shows. She graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. She held a variety of roles at Avison Young, including senior associate, senior vice president and principal.

Mike Nathanson has returned to Blanca Commercial Real Estate as senior vice president. As SVP, Nathanson will help expand Blanca CRE’s office leasing advisory practice across Palm Beach County and Broward County, with a focus on Fort Lauderdale, where he will be based, a release said.

Nathanson brings more than 20 years of experience in South Florida commercial real estate, specializing in landlord agency and tenant representation. Before joining Blanca CRE, he held positions at Terranova Corporation and Panther Capital Realty, LLC. Over the span of his career, Nathanson has completed more than 3 million square feet of transactions, the release said. He also serves on the board of directors for the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, formerly known as the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.

Lantern Real Estate Advisors + Partners is expanding its leasing practice in South Florida with the relocation of Jessica Adler, vice president on the firm’s leasing team, from New York City to Palm Beach.
