Czapek releases a new Antarctique Tourbillon in 18k yellow gold and a Victory Green dial. Originally this colour-way was created in response to a piece unique request from a collector. The watch was delivered, but the watch left a deep impression which triggered Czapek to seek the permission to release a 10 piece limited edition based on the same colour palette.

Deployant’s Commentary & Analysis
This new release is a dial colour expansion of the regular Antarctique Tourbillon released in 2025. Here are our Commentary with Release and the Live from WWG25 coverage of the base model. The guilloché uses the Singularité pattern, which is a reference to the astronomical phenomena of singularity. A point when the mathematics call for a division by zero, causing the laws of physics to break down. This is encountered for example in black holes, with gravity collapsing into a singularity. This pattern is a registered trademark for Czapek and Metalem as co-creators.
The movement remains unchanged as the Calibre 9. This is an in-house developed and manufactured movement by Czapek. The key visual is a bridge for the barrel and a very large bridge which spans the dial carrying the canon pinion and thus the origin point of the Hour and Minute hands. And the contrarian design that the tourbillon is flying, sans bridge. Thus, the same movement finishing which was previously judged to be at a high level. Not the most aesthetically pleasing finissage, but above the average, and certainly above its price class.
Other than the yellow gold case, which it turns out to be a popular offering this year, the other aspects of the watch remains unchanged from the launch editions in 2025, and the titanium edition in WWG this year.
Pricing notes
Pricing wise, the Antarctique Tourbillon in yellow gold is pitched at just below CHF 70k for the lowest entry for the model with rubber strap. Compared to the launch models, including Glacier Blue, Photon Sphere, and Secret Alloy dials, which is in stainless steel with steel bracelet at CHF 63k. The Antarctique Tourbillon in steel in regular production is now listed on the Czapek website at CHF 67k, an increase of CHF 5k over the 2025 launch price.
Prior to this release, the Antarctique Tourbillon was not available in gold. A titanium version was released earlier this year at WWG26 at the same price as the steel model, this was a limited edition of 25 pieces, and not in the current Czapek catalog.

The Official Press Release
Born from a bespoke order, the Antarctique Tourbillon Victory Green joins the collection as a limited edition of 10 numbered pieces in 18k 2N yellow gold, pairing a forest green handmade guilloché ‘Singularité’ dial with the in-house Calibre 9 and its flying tourbillon.
Some pieces begin at the drawing board. This one began with a conversation. A collector came to Czapek with a very personal idea of what an Antarctique Tourbillon could be: warm yellow gold, a deep forest green, and nothing to distract from the mechanics. The unique piece that followed left such an impression that, with the collector’s agreement, the maison has chosen to share its design in a series of 10.
Since its revival, Czapek has invited collectors to shape the pieces they wear, and on more than one occasion a single order has become the starting point of a new edition. The Victory Green follows this path, remaining faithful to the original design while opening it to a small circle of collectors.
“Some of our best ideas are not necessarily born from us,” says Xavier de Roquemaurel, CEO of Czapek & Cie. “A collector trusted us with a vision for a one-of-a-kind Antarctique Tourbillon, and when we saw it finished on the wrist, we knew it deserved to exist beyond a single piece. With his blessing, we have opened that conversation to ten more people. At Czapek, listening is essential to the way we make watches.”
The dial carries the ‘Singularit鯒 hand-guilloché pattern, created by Czapek with Metalem for the Antarctique Tourbillon. Unlike a classical guilloché ‘rosace’, where every line springs from a single point, here the starting point shifts with each pass of the lathe, drawing the eye towards the tourbillon in a vortex that suggests infinite depth. Engraved in a ‘Secret Alloy’ base, the dial receives its intense green hue through PVD treatment, echoed by the green hour markers and partially skeletonised hands, both filled with Super-LumiNova. The pattern is unique and required the creation of a special cam for its execution.
“Engine-turned or handmade guilloché engravings are becoming a rarity in today’s world. Hand-guilloché provides a precision on the smallest cuts that no machine can match” adds Xavier de Roquemaurel.
Calibre 9 is the first Czapek movement not only designed and constructed in-house but also machined mostly in-house. Its tourbillon, gear train and barrel are aligned on a single vertical axis on the dial side, with the flying tourbillon turning in a convex titanium cage. Through the caseback, the hand-engraved 5N gold oscillating weight completes the picture.
The 40.5 mm case, 11.5 mm high, is framed by box sapphire crystals front and back and water resistant to 5 atm. It extends into an integrated 18k 2N yellow gold bracelet fitted with Czapek’s ‘Easy Release’ system, with an alligator leather or rubber strap available on request.
Unveiled on 14 October 2026 and presented to collectors for the first time at WatchTime New York (Gotham Hall, 16 to 18 October), the Antarctique Tourbillon Victory Green is available from a selection of authorised Czapek retailers worldwide, at the Czapek boutique in Geneva, Quai des Bergues 27, and at czapek.com.ease
