Prices of major virtual assets, including Bitcoin, are rising across the board. Bitcoin is trading in the $82,000 range, and major altcoins (virtual assets other than Bitcoin) are also gaining.
As of 8 a.m. on the 21st, on CoinMarketCap, a global virtual asset market tracker, Bitcoin was trading at $82,885, up 1.18% from 24 hours earlier.

Ethereum, the No. 2 virtual asset by market capitalization, rose 1.81% at the same time to $2,447. Major altcoins were also strong. Ripple (XRP) traded at $1.33, up 2.40% from 24 hours earlier. Solana was up 1.44% at $106.
The rise in virtual asset prices is seen as stemming from eased concerns about U.S. interest rate hikes and a recovery in risk appetite. In the market, there is an outlook that the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) will hold its benchmark rate on Apr. 27–28.
