Weeks ahead of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s big fat Indian wedding, their extravagant wedding invite is going viral on social media. A culturally rooted invitation card filled with the photos and frames of several Hindu gods has been shared with guests for the wedding on July 12. One video of the invitation was recently shared on Instagram and has since been shared multiple times on various social media platforms. A temple like box was shown in the video, which had a tiny temple made of silver. As soon as the box was opened, Hindi mantras played in the background. It appears that there are some gold idols inside the box too.

In the viral video, cards for different functions can be seen with details of the events. While one of them was the silver temple with mantras playing in the background. The other one was a silver card, which looked like the main gate of an ancient temple. The card along with details had pictures of several Hindu deities including Lord Ganesh, Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, Radha-Krishna and goddess Durga.

The third invite was box, again made of silver and had Lord Vishnu all over it. The box contained several tiny frames and idols of Hindu Gods along with a shawl.

The card caught the attention of many on Reddit. A user wrote, “Ek cupboard bhi bhej dete, to keep the ‘wedding card’. Another user wrote, “People would have loved this 10 months back but now they have just made a mockery of the wedding. So much show off.” “This card is my entire shaadi budget bro”, read other comments.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, who had their roka ceremony back in 2023, are all set to tie the knot on July 12 in Mumbai after two extravagant pre-wedding events. The first pre-wedding event comprised of three days of festivities in Jamnagar. The second pre-wedding function was on a cruise in Europe in June. Both the celebrations had several celebrities in attendance. Singers like Katy Perry, Diljit Dosanjh, and Rihanna among others performed during these celebrations.
