Professional services group Cooper Parry has appointed Adam Maitland as head of its national corporate finance business, succeeding Andy Parker after 11 years in the role.
Adam brings more than 19 years’ experience advising entrepreneurs, management teams and investors on mergers, acquisitions and complex transactions across the UK and internationally.
He founded the corporate finance offering at Aberdeen-based Hutcheon Mearns in 2017, before joining Cooper Parry following its acquisition of the business.
Recognised as Scottish Dealmaker of the Year in 2025, Adam specialises in the energy and industrials sectors and will now lead Cooper Parry’s corporate finance team across its 13 UK locations.
He succeeds Andy, who has overseen the division’s transformation from a small regional team into a national corporate finance operation.
Andy will remain with the business, continuing to advise clients, support transactions and lead its health and social care sector activity.
The leadership transition comes as Cooper Parry targets more than £600 million in revenue by 2028.
