The beauty of the Olympics, in the first week at least, is that every day seems to be chock full of must-see events, unmissable competitions and enough drama to keep a Netflix executive happy.
Day three has been no different, and if you’re from Hong Kong it holds the prospect of not one, but two gold medals. An achievement that would be simply unprecedented in the annals of the city’s sporting history.
Cheung Ka-long and Siobhan Haughey know the weight of expectation that weighs on them, and their fates are edging ever closer as we move into the early hours of Tuesday.
We’ll be here for all the action from Paris, so stick with us for live coverage of what promises to be another thrilling day.
