Biggest risk buying medicines online without prescription isn’t financial

Ozempic is, supposedly, the new “wonder drug” to tackle the obesity crisis. People who are chronically overweight, and cannot lose it by controlling their food intake and increasing exercise, are often tempted to try weight-loss drugs.

Semaglutide, the main ingredient, has been described by medics as a game changer, but severe side effects in some people and restricted availability means it is, rightly, targeted at the 25,000 or so living with diabetes, a life-limiting condition.
