More housing is coming to Eastwood will road infrastructure improve?

Traffic and infrastructure in Middletown must be updated to accommodate new development

play

Those of us who live in the soon-to-be incorporated Eastwood are tired of our concerns about the traffic and infrastructure falling on deaf ears. For years, we’ve all been inconvenienced daily by the inexplicable timing of the traffic lights on either side of 265 in Middletown. The lights change in the opposite order of what would make sense and cause backups that add 30 minutes to an hour to every person’s daily commute.

We’ve watched as the extra traffic during the PGA claimed the life of one of our own because it was so poorly managed, on roads that could not accommodate the traffic. We would like to know, as you are approving thousands more houses to be built in Eastwood, and approve events which draw thousands more cars, when are you planning to update the infrastructure to accommodate it? Eastwood is losing patience.
