Hedge fund CFM reports double digit returns in Stratus and Discus funds – source – 2024-01-05


LONDON, Jan 5 (Reuters) – Hedge fund CFM (Capital Fund
Management) posted double digit returns in two of its funds for
the year 2023, said a source on Friday.

The $12.5 billion hedge fund, famous for its systematic
strategies returned, last year, 14.82% in its Discus and 11.31%
in its Stratus funds, the source said.

Global hedge funds in 2023 averaged a 5.7% return in the
year through November, according to hedge fund research firm
PivotalPath. Equities and credit-focused strategies were the
best performers, while macro and managed futures lagged.
