2023 was synonymous with a lot of things. The takeover of Barbiecore, Julia Fox‘s never-ending display of the wildest outfits ever, and our newfound obsession with Anitta. The Brazillian artist shot straight to the top of our best dressed list thanks to ensembles ranging from 3D nipple bodysuits to Y2K bustiers worn with shredded mini skirts.
While her stage ‘fits are daring to say the least – just check out her cut-out, thong-exposing fishnet shorts – her off-duty style is equally statement-making, like when she went skiing wearing a towel and drinking champagne. Yep, this is fashion icon behaviour.
So can you blame us for keeping a watchful eye on Anitta’s socials, waiting to see what she wears next? Well, we’re happy to report her latest look (worn at what looks like a Latin dance party) has not disappointed.

Taking to both the stage and the dance floor, Anitta is literally shining in the gold fringe naked dress as she sings and salsas the night away. And thanks to some up close camera work shared on her Instagram story, we got a detailed look at her outfit for the occasion.
The bodice of Anitta’s dress is made from a see-through mesh fabric embellished all over with beads on the front of the plunging V-neck design before leading into more scattered trails across her back. Strands of gold beaded tassels are overlayed onto the bottom half of the mini dress and flare out as the singer twirls and shakes her hips, a modern take on a 1920s flapper dress.
If we’ve learned anything from Strictly Come Dancing, it’s that salsa dancing and sparkles go hand in hand so we couldn’t picture a more perfect ‘fit. On that note, we’ll get back to our Anitta style watch (like Springwatch, but chicer).
