Déruaz has over 20 years’ experience in portfolio management. Most recently, he was head of portfolio management at Unigestion.
Before that, he spent over a decade at Lombard Odier, where he eventually led the systematic equities and alternatives team. He also worked for Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) and BNP Paribas.

The firm described Déruaz, who will report to Andreas Söderholm, head of Eric Sturdza Investments, as “a specialist in developing systematic quantitative strategies and combining them with fundamental and macroeconomic inputs to manage robust investment portfolios”.
“Alexandre brings extensive experience and skills to complement our expertise across equities, fixed income and alternative investments,” said Söderholm.
“He will expand our ability to manage institutional mandates and deliver factor-based and machine learning solutions.”
