Euroclear has signed partnership with fintech platform iCapital as it strives to improve access to alternative investments for wealth managers and private banks.
Over 2,500 clients of the Belgian clearing house will have access to the alternative funds available on the iCapital Marketplace platform, which supports 1,445 funds across private equity, private credit, hedge funds and real assets.
The two firms will be automating tasks such as subscription and administration of the funds, with iCapital Marketplace delegating direct custody and execution flows to Euroclear.
