‘Falling in love with a fund shows a lack of discipline’

I suspect firms that are talking about AI-powered investment strategies might be maximising their current marketing appeal.

AI is one of many tools we are using, but only where it is appropriate. For example, we use a branch of AI called NLP, or natural language processing, which allows computers to understand and manipulate human language. These models enable us to analyse thousands of investments efficiently. However, they are not suitable for forecasting future returns.
