As we continue to figure out all of 2024’s key sneaker releases, the rumor mill has been consistently informing of us of notable launches coming in 2025 as well. Considering the Air Jordan 5 in particular, it’s expected that the “Grape” colorway will return alongside a “Reimagined” version of the “Black Metallic” look. On top of this, A Ma Maniére is said to have another project featuring the sneaker in the works.
Now, our latest rumor comes courtesy of Sneaker Files, which reported that a “Metallic Gold” version of the Air Jordan 5 is en route. The shimmering yellow hue previously adorned the Air Jordan 1 High OG in black and white colorways earlier this year and will combine with “Brilliant Orange,” “Sail” and “Muslin” detailing, as imagined in the mock-up above.
At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not confirmed whether or not this rumored “Metallic Gold” version of the Air Jordan 5 will be releasing next year. Stay tuned for updates, including a first look at the sneaker, as we currently expect it to land on shelves next summer in women’s sizing via Nike SNKRS and select retailers around the $200 USD price point.
