Altamira Gold Corp. has announced the discovery of a significant porphyry gold deposit at their Maria Bonita site in the Cajueiro district, Brazil. The identification of this deposit type, a first in Brazil, is backed by expert analyses and promising drill results, including a 146m intercept at 1.0g/t gold. The company is now expanding exploration, employing advanced satellite and aeromagnetic technologies to uncover additional porphyry bodies within the district.
