Daniel Wiffen wins Gold at World Aquatics Championships

Wiffen (22) was in lane-5 for the final of the men’s 800-metre freestyle.

Daniel Wiffen has won gold at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha this afternoon. 

He was in lane-5 for the final of the men’s 800-metre freestyle. 

Earlier today, Shane Ryan and Maria Godden failed to progress from their heats of the 100-metre freestyle and 50-metre backstroke respectively.
