TWO-TIME Olympic champion Tom James has swapped rowing for pizza as he is now working for DOMINO’S.
The Brit, 39, was part of Team GB‘s quartet that claimed gold in the Coxless fours at the 2008 Games in Beijing.
Four years later, he then repeated the feat in front of a home crowd at London 2012 – one year after becoming world champion in Slovenia.
The Welshman’s sensational achievements on the water saw him receive an MBE in 2009.
He also received the Freedom of the Borough of Wrexham following London 2012.
And gold postboxes were installed both Wrexham and Coedpoeth to commemorate his achievements.

But less than 18 months after his second gold medal, James retired from rowing in November 2013.
The Cambridge University alumnus, won won The Boat Race in 2007, then spent eight years as a Management Consultant for Oliver Wyman having taken the job one month before announcing his retirement from rowing.
During this time, he was also a director of Cambridge University Boat Club until August 2020.
He then joined Executive Nexus as their Head of Product and Operations in January 2021, staying with the company until February 2023.

Nine months as a freelance consultant followed his departure from Executive Nexus.
Then in November of last year, James, who lives in London, embarked on a new challenge with Domino’s Pizza UK & Ireland.
His role at the company is Head of Strategy and Corporate Development – with the company based in Milton Keynes.
