Fans have chosen their Celebrity Big Brother winner.
David Potts screamed with delight when AJ Odudu and Will Best revealed he had been picked by the public as the Celebrity Big Brother winner. The ITV show has been running for just over three weeks
As his name was read out, David screamed: “Oh my God,” left in shock over his win. He embraced the runner-up, Strictly Come Dancing’s Nikita Kuzmin, who congratulated him and told him to enjoy his win.

The Ibiza Weekender personality quipped: “I’m feeling slay, I’m ready to take on the day, get me on that runway!” when left pacing the house on his own. Once AJ’s voice echoed over the living room, he shouted “cheers hun” and raised a glass to himself as she told David to walk out of the house.
On the Late & Live spin off, he told AJ: “Who doesn’t want to win? I genuinely didn’t think I was going to.
“I thought I was going to be mid-way. But here I am, honeys!”
David had amassed a wave of new fans during his stint in the famous house. Many took to X (Twitter) to share their thoughts after the news was announced.
One said: “David deserves that more than anyone. An icon and a heart of gold.”
Another commented: “He shone the brightest right from Day One and now David Potts is our champion for 2024! I knew from Day one he could do it.”
A third said: “The gays, the girls and the Facebook mums all joining forces in crowning David has been the most unexpected yet amazing thing to come out of 2024!”
