After playing Homelander in The Boys, Antony Starr could potentially play another superhero or supervillain role in the DCU. There’s speculation that he could be cast as the DCU’s Booster Gold, prompting a response from the actor.
The recent speculation over Starr possibly getting cast at Booster Gold largely stems from fans noticing that the actor and DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn started following one another on Instagram. This had fans wondering if this hints at Starr joining a DCU project in a role that’s yet to be announced. Per ComicBook.com, Starr commented on the rumor that he’s joined the DCU, possibly in the role of Booster Gold. He said that he’s merely golf buddies with Gunn, but Starr noted his excitement about what the DCU has to offer.
