Incred Alternative Investments has successfully launched its first private equity fund, securing Rs 330 crore in its initial fundraising phase. Named Incred Growth Partners Fund I, the new fund has set its sights on a final goal of Rs 500 crore, according to the company’s announcement.
The fund has attracted attention from high networth individuals, bolstering confidence in its strategic investment focus. “Incred Growth Partners Fund I, its maiden PE fund, has received commitments of Rs 330 crore in its first close and is targeting a final close of Rs 500 crore,” the firm stated.
Under the leadership of Vivek Singla, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer for Private Equity at Incred Alternatives, the fund plans to channel investments into promising growth and late-stage companies. The targeted sectors for these investments include consumer, financial services, and enterprise/technology.
The fund’s strategy involves investing amounts ranging from Rs 40-80 crore, aiming to foster significant growth within its selected companies.
Incred Alternatives has a strong track record, having raised approximately Rs 3,000 crore across various strategies including private credit, hedge funds, and now private equity. The new fund addition underscores the firm’s expanding footprint in diversified investment strategies and its commitment to fostering growth in key economic sectors.
