Integra Resources said Wednesday that it has agreed to sell a royalty interest in its gold and silver project in Idaho to Wheaton Precious Metals for $9.8 million.
The U.S.-focused precious metals exploration and development said it entered into a binding agreement with Wheaton Precious Metals (Cayman) through its own subsidiary DeLamar Mining Co. for a 1.5% net smelter returns royalty form all claims of the DeLamar and Florida Mountain deposit.
The purchase price is expected to be paid in installments, with the first $4.9 million due when the transaction closes on March 5, and the second four months later.
Integra plans to use the proceeds to continue developing the DeLamar project.
