North Attleboro man charged with money laundering related to alleged precious metals thefts | Local News


NORTH ATTLEBORO — A local man was charged with money laundering Friday in connection with his alleged theft of more than $1 million in precious metals from a luxury jewelry company in Rhode Island, where he was a manufacturing supervisor.

Benjamin Preacher, 54, of 330 Broadway, was released with conditions after an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Boston. He faces one count of engaging in unlawful monetary transactions, according to court records.
