Quilter Investors has hired Investec Wealth & Investment’s head of alternative funds research Adrian Todd as a senior manager research analyst.
The hiring of Todd (pictured above), who spent eight years at Investec and featured in Citywire Wealth Manager’s 2022 list of the UK’s top 100 fund selectors, marks the second big departure from Investec W&I’s alternatives arm in the space of a few months. Previous head Andrew Summers left to become chief investment officer at Omnis at the end of last year.
In his newly-created Quilter role, Todd assumes responsibility for researching and analysing funds and investment trusts in the alternative investment universe. This includes hedge, private markets, and infrastructure funds.
