SILVER SPRINGS, Nev. (KOLO) -Authorities learned of a possible abduction Saturday in Silver Springs and after a 90-minute search found the suspect and victim at the Silver Springs Casino parking lot.
The victim was freed unharmed, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.
LCSO arrested Brandy Moore, 55, of Silver Springs on charges of kidnapping, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and drug charges. She was booked in the Lyon County jail on $323,640 bail.
The initial call about an abduction at gunpoint in the 8500 block of Santa Fe Trail in Stagecoach came at 2:30 p.m. Authorities searched for the suspect vehicle for 90 minutes before finding it in the casino parking lot.
Authorities found a handgun similar to the one described by the initial caller in the vehicle with Moore and also found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, the sheriff’s office said.
