Australia Olympic medal tally: Updated gold, silver, bronze medal count at Paris 2024


With the Olympic opening ceremony complete, it’s now time to turn our attention to the sport.

The first medals in Paris will be awarded today, kicking off two weeks of competition. 

The Sporting News will keep track of every Australian podium-getter with daily medal tally updates.

Like every other nation, Australia sits at a tally of zero medals heading into the first official day of events.

On the opening day, medals can be won in swimming, cycling, shooting, diving, fencing, judo, rugby and skateboarding.
