Bulgarian Brezalieva Wins Silver and Bronze at Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku


Eva Brezalieva won silver and bronze medals respectively in the ball and hoop finals at the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Sunday.

Brezalieva’s excellent performance in the hoop final won her 34.650 points, which placed her third behind Germany’s Darja Varfolomeev with 35.550 points and Italy’s Sofia Raffaeli with 35.500 points.

The Bulgarian gymnast performed a flawless routine in the ball final and with a score of 33.800 point placed between Varfolomeev, who won the gold again, and Ukraine’s Taisiia Onofriichuk.

So far, the Bulgarian gymnasts have won one bronze and two silver medals at the World Cup in Baku.
