Gold and Silver Prices in India: In a major development, the Gold prices have crossed Rs 63,000 again while the silver has reached around 72,000. This week, there has been an increase in the prices of gold and silver. According to the website of the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), at the beginning of this week, i.e., on January 29, the gold was priced at ₹62,497 per 10 grams in the bullion market, which has now risen to ₹63,142 per 10 grams as of February 3, 2024. This indicates an increase of Rs 645 in its price this week.
Silver has also approached around Rs 72,000. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) website, there has been an upward trend in silver prices this week. At the beginning of the week, it was priced at ₹71,354 per kilogram, which has now risen to ₹71,864 per kilogram, as of this week’s update on February 3. This indicates an increase of Rs 510 in its price this week.
In the meanwhile, the experts believe Gold Prices may reach upto Rs 70,000 while silver may hit Rs 85,000 in 2024. Experts suggested that the gold prices might see an upward trend in 2024, potentially reaching up to Rs 70,000 per 10 grams this year. Meanwhile, silver could climb to Rs 85,000 per kilogram.
