Silver is a crucial resource in Hades 2, but you can’t pick it up with your bare hands.
Unlike its predecessor, Hades 2 places a wealth of importance on collecting resources as you make your way to the underworld. Keeping an eye out for plants, minerals, and the like is crucial if you want to make progress with Melinoe’s latent powers and unlock new features.
Hades 2 Has A Hub World That I Never Want To Leave
The Crossroads is already a place I can’t wait to return to again and again.
Silver is a basic resource that you’ll need to unlock some similarly basic things, like tools, weapons, and even some important incantations. As a mineral, though, Silver must be mined, and mining has some prerequisites of its own. Once you understand the shiny importance of the stuff, you’ll want to keep your pick handy at all times.
How To Get Silver
Silver is one of the mineral resources available to you in Hades 2. As a result, you will first need to unlock the Crescent Pick and have it equipped before you journey down to the underworld.
With the Crescent Pick equipped, you will be able to mine the Silver ore deposits that appear uncommonly throughout Erebus, which is the first region of the underworld. Keep an eye out for large, sparkling rocks. Each ore deposit can be mined three times before it’s empty.
Silver can only be found in Erebus
– other regions will have different minerals to mine.
If you have trouble noticing resource nodes, cast the Reagant Sensing incantation at the cauldron at the Crossroads. This will give you a visual indicator after clearing an encounter that there are resources to collect.
