The V2K stands out as a mix of vintage style, with a nod to the Vomero 5 but with a touch of modern design, shown via its texturized outsole and cushioned cuff. Other notable design elements of the shoe include its sleek metallic layers and pre-aged TPU cage.
All of the shoe’s layers sit on top of a bright white mesh upper, providing a timeless look, tied together with a subtle grey Nike Swoosh logo at the lateral side of the shoe, with other branding elements including a light grey logo at the tongue tag, insole and a debossed at the heel.
The shoe also features a dual-density foam midsole, providing a layered look and an outsole that features a variety of tread types and light speckling to further accentuate the vintage look. Nike’s V2k Run in “Metallic Silver” is expected to be released via Nike’s official site during the spring season, exclusively in women’s sizing, for a retail price of $110 USD.
