Offaly’s Old Warehouse pub co-owned by Shane Lowry wins silver in local bar awards

Offaly golfing star Shane Lowry’s pub restaurant in Tullamore has picked up a silver winner’s award at the 2024 Bar of the Year Awards.

The winners were announced on Monday, August 19, at a gala awards ceremony in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin. Paladar in Co Cork was named bar of the year for the second time.

The Old Warehouse in Bury Quay, Tullamore, was awarded silver in the local bar category. It is co-owned by Olympian Shane Lowry. The winner in this category was The Kingswood Lodge, Co Dublin, while the bronze went to Whelan’s bar, Co Limerick.
