Over 200 silver coins recovered from the 1715 treasure fleet in US
A team of treasure hunters has recovered over 200 silver coins from the 1715 Spanish Treasure Fleet wreck off the Florida coast. The fleet, laden with gold, silver, and gemstones, sank during a hurricane in 1715. The recent find, by the crew of the Lilly May, marks the first major discovery of the 2024 season.
