Speaking on the night, Miriam said: “I am privileged to be back tonight at the amazing LauraLynn Heroes ball as MC for the night.
“It is a highlight each year and is always an incredible evening all in aid of the hundreds of children with life-limiting conditions and their families who LauraLynn provide care and support for nationwide each year.”
Shay Byrne added: “I was delighted to host the auction at the LauraLynn Heroes Ball for the first time this year. We had some amazing auction prizes up for grabs. It was a night not to be missed and most importantly we raised lots of funds for the amazing LauraLynn.”
LauraLynn care is provided free of charge for children and families. The charity receives some core statutory state funding but relies primarily on fundraised income to fund its hospice services. The Heroes Ball is a key date in the fundraising calendar for LauraLynn.
