The Indian Society of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care (ISNACC) organised its Silver Jubilee conference at the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune from February 16 to 18.
Organized by the Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care, the event coincided with the Platinum Jubilee year of AFMC.

ISNACC 2024 was inaugurated by Lieutenant General Narendra Kotwal, director and commandant of AFMC, and Major General D Vivekanand, SM, dean and deputy commandant at AFMC.
A special cover symbolizing the Silver Jubilee conference of ISNACC was also released. Postmaster General of Pune region Ramchandra Jayabhaye was present on the occasion.
The conference featured a diverse range of workshops and hands-on training sessions, covering critical topics that are at the forefront of neuroanaesthesia and critical care.
Participants engaged in interactive sessions focusing on simulation for neuro-emergencies, neuro-modulation and chronic pain, paediatric airway management, advanced haemodynamic monitoring, stroke, and smart research practices. These workshops aimed to provide practical insights and enhance the skills of healthcare professionals, offering a unique opportunity for experiential learning.
A noteworthy component of the conference was a special Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on the management of a brain-dead patient for organ donations – with a broader aim of enhancing physicians’ comprehension regarding the altruistic practice of organ donation.
